Glenwood Springs

Glenwood Springs is conveniently located along Interstate 70 about 3 hours west of Denver and 2 hours east of Grand Junction, less than an hour away from both of the famous resort towns of Vail and Aspen. The town thrives on its small town atmosphere combined with its modern day activities. With its multitude of activities at your fingertips and its ratings of being one of the top ten places to live in the United States by the Travel Channel, and #1-rated fishing town in America by Field & Stream magazine you are guaranteed to be as relaxed or as busy as you care to be. Weather visiting the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, Historic Hot Springs Pool, Vapor Caves, Sunlight Mountain Resort, Doc Holliday's Grave, and many golf courses, or hiking, biking, camping, rafting, fishing or riding the waves at the new Whitewater Park, Glenwood Springs is a paradise for all ages!

Along with all of the outdoor activities the area offers, there are lots of shopping and dining experiences and community events throughout the year as well! Glenwood Springs has shopping at the Glenwood Springs Mall, Glenwood Meadows Shopping Center, and historic downtown with many quaint one of a kind shops as well as the big box retailers to suit all of your shopping needs. The local restaurants and bars are sure to curb your cravings. From fine dining to local family favorites, Glenwood has well over 50 restaurants and bars to choose from. In the summer, there are lots of Community Events to attend. Around the end of June every year, Sayre Park in the middle of town turns into Strawberry Park and the annual Strawberry Days Festival takes over the town. With vendors, a carnival, a Saturday morning parade, Sunday morning Pancake Breakfast, free strawberries and ice cream and lots of entertaining activities for all, the annual festival is sure to be a fun weekend for anyone who attends! The Glenwood Springs Summer of Jazz is also a very popular community event that begins in June and commences at the end of July. Two Rivers Park is taken over by people and music Wednesday nights in the Pavilion at the park. So, whether doing something outdoors, shopping, dining, or enjoying a community event during the summer, Glenwood Springs is a town that offers many opportunities for the young and old.
